Build at home.
Use the downloadable geometry and parameters to build your own model. Choose your solver, approximations, and uncertainty estimates.
A new geometry. A room full of curious minds. Bring your simulator, trade your predictions, and find out which models travel beyond the training case.
Save interest with your guest profile. This is not an event booking; dates, venue, and final rules are to be announced.
The public games are a practice ground. The seasonal challenge changes the geometry and conditions, so success depends on how well your model generalizes. This is the proposed format; final rules will be published before registration opens.

Everyone receives the new geometry and boundary conditions at the same time. A calibration session lets teams check their setup.
Freeze your model before the scored trials. Forecast on unseen cases and trade during 1–5 minute rounds, with equal gold and compute budgets.
Score across several unseen settings. Compare forecasting accuracy and trading results, then discuss where the models succeeded or failed.
Proposed challenge families. Competition geometries and exact settings stay unreleased until the event.
A different aerofoil, angle of attack, and inlet conditions. Does your wake model still predict the exit?
Practice the current flow ↗Changed peg spacing, release conditions, or restitution. Forecast a full distribution over the slots.
Practice the Galton board ↗Unseen ring speeds and gap widths. Predict escape under conditions you haven’t tuned for.
Practice ring escape ↗Two proposed leaderboards keep scientific accuracy visible alongside trading performance.
Submit probabilities before the observation window. Use a proper probability score, such as the Brier score, averaged over held-out settings. Report uncertainty and performance by case family.
Start each event with equal gold. Rank final settled balances across the same rounds and publish trades with timestamps. Competition balances are separate from everyday practice wallets.
An in-person event, with a shared local market running at the venue. Participants bring their own models and trade on the same experiments. Internet and compute rules will be announced before registration.
The practice geometry is public now. The scored challenge uses new geometries and settings released to all teams at the event. Calibration and model-freeze rules will be published in advance; no per-case manual tuning during the held-out trials.
The proposed format supports reduced-order models and other efficient approaches, alongside full simulations. Equal compute limits and preparation windows will be specified before registration opens.
No. Predictions use virtual gold. The event’s entry arrangements and any prizes have not been announced.
