THE CHALLENGE

Does the entire ball clear the outer ring before the clock reaches zero?

Yes, it escapes or No, it stays inside

The experiment

A luminous ball bounces through three rotating rings. Predict whether it clears the last ring in 60 seconds.

How this market resolves

The ball must clear the outside of all three rings, including its full radius, within 60 physical seconds after release. Yes pays 1 gold if it escapes by the deadline; otherwise No pays 1 gold. Trading stops immediately on escape or at the deadline and unfilled orders expire. After a 3-second result countdown, the next ball launches immediately. Trade while the ball is moving; each attempt has a 60-second deadline and finishes early if the ball escapes.

Build your own simulation

Circular edge segments form three motor-driven rings. Their gaps rotate at different angular velocities. Gravity and elastic impacts determine the path, with continuous collision detection enabled for the ball. The motors can transfer energy on impact. New initial gap phases and launch direction are chosen for each attempt. Playback is at physical speed.
